Curriculum and Teaching Dialogue is a peer-reviewed journal sponsored by the American Association for Teaching and Curriculum. The purpose of the journal is to promote the scholarly study of teaching and curriculum. Our aim is to provide readers with knowledge and strategies of teaching and curriculum that can be used in educational settings. Traditional research articles and conceptual essays undergo double-blind peer review, while research outtakes and book reviews undergo editorial review. Publication in CTD is always free to authors.

We solicit manuscripts in late fall each year. Reviewers and the editorial team work to provide thoughtful feedback intended to help authors improve their academic writing. Feedback is usually returned in early spring, and revisions, decisions, and subsequent steps for publication occur in late spring and early summer. New volumes of the journal are published annually, typically just before the organization’s annual meeting in October.

For more information about CTD's open access policy, copyright, and uses related to artificial intelligence, please see our "About the Journal" section.

We are currently soliciting manuscripts for Volume 29! All submissions are due December 15.
