Abstract

Corruption in one form or another is no stranger to Oklahoma. Unfortunately, the term "political corruption" is not easy to define. Readers probably deserve a warning that a focus on corruption is, by definition, a focus on bad behavior. Oklahoma history is treated selectively to dwell on the dark side. The conclusion offers a brief comparative assessment of the state's corruption.
