Abstract

Atkin's Q-analysis is further distinguished from Stephenson's Q methodology, and questions are raised about the latter vis-a-vis the effect of its algebraic operations on its data, the role of statistical tests of significance, its relationship to quantum theory in physics, and the distinction between objective and subjective.
