First nesting record of the black-bellied whitling-duck (Dendrocygna autumnalis) in southwest Oklahoma

Abstract

We documented breeding by Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks (Dendrocygna autumnalis) in Comanche County, Oklahoma. This represents the first nesting record for this species in Southwest Oklahoma and the fifth county with confirmed breeding in the state.
