Hurricane-driven birds in southeastern Oklahoma

Abstract

We document birds borne into extreme southeastern Oklahoma by hurricanes Gustav and Ike, which passed through the area during early and mid-September 2008, furnishing a state record; Sooty Tern (Onychoprion fuscata), and other species rare to this area.
