Comparative Studies of the Animal Communities of Oak-Hickory Forests in Missouri and Oklahoma

Abstract

The present paper deals with the results of two quantitative studies of animal population in oak-hickory associations as represented in such forests in Missouri and Oklahoma; these were made during two consecutive years. One area studied is located in St. Charles county, Missouri and the other in Cleveland county, Oklahoma.
